Gluten Free for Food Insecure Individuals
1 in 100 people worldwide have celiac disease which can only be treated with a gluten free diet. And yet safe, uncontaminated gf food is incredibly hard to find as well as ridiculously expensive.
According to the CDF, gluten free food is ~183% more expensive than gluten containing food which makes it even harder for gf families to buy groceries. Donating to your local food bank can make all the difference.
Make sure to include a note that you wish your donation to go towards gluten free and allergy friendly food.

The Gluten in Medicine Disclosure Act
As of 2021, the FDA does not require companies to disclose the ingredients in prescription drugs. People with celiac disease or allergies have no way of knowing if their medicine is doing more harm than good.
Please join us in asking your U.S. Representatives to cosponsor this important piece of legislation to make it easier and safer for individuals with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity to make informed purchases of needed medications.
