Meet Your Bookclub Host:

Hi, bookish friends! I’m @libraryofdreaming, a 20 something history major with a passion for YA fantasy, classics, historical nonfiction, and book hoarding. I have celiac disease, lyme disease, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue.

(Care to feed my book addiction and make my day/month/year? Consider buying me a book from my Amazon wishlist.)

I came up with the idea to start a bookclub focused on disability representation during the summer of 2021 after struggling for many years to find books that represented my experience as a spoonie and disabled woman.

Library of Dreaming (Bookstagram)'s bookshelf: read

The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper
it was amazing
tagged: nonfiction, trigger-warnings-needed, and favorites
The Tea Dragon Festival
it was amazing
tagged: disability-representation and fantasy

I hope to find a community where my fellow book lovers and I can connect, share our experiences, and read great books! I’m committed to sharing the word about #ownvoice reads that feature disabled characters written by disabled authors.

I plan to showcase disabled artists and creators every month as well in concert with our reading picks. Keep an eye out for giveaways, author Q&A sessions, and more!

Happy reading!
